"Fear is man's chief enslaver, pride his greatest weakness." When all is said and done, what matters in life is the memories you've made, the experiences you've had, the lives you've touched. No one wants to have regrets about what they didn't do, so why does fear exist? Why do so many people allow it to dictate who they become in life or what they do? When you take a look at all the greats who have torn down barriers and broken records to earn the title of the greatest, did they appear to have fear? Did the possibility of failing stop them from reaching for their dreams? Absolutely not. So why allow that to stop you? "He who is not courageous enough to take risks will accomplish nothing in life." When I turned 30 this year, I examined my life from a different standpoint. I began to see the big picture, what life is truly about. It isn't about how much money a person makes or how much fame they achieve. It is about going after their hopes and dreams. Pursuing their purpose going full throttle! In recognizing this, my eyes began to open to the fact that I have been doing just that. Often times, I find it hard to give myself credit for accomplishing my dreams or for becoming the woman I am today: someone who is proud of the things I've done and working on becoming a better me daily. At 30, I am a voice over actress, an author, a certified weight loss management coach, and I am currently building up a business with my fiance. I refuse to allow life to pass me by, to seize every moment is my aim! I actively work on my dreams instead of allowing them to continue to be fairy tales hidden from view within my mind. May you begin to do the same, if you are not already doing so. Life is what you make it, you are creating the life you want whether you are doing it actively or passively. Never allow circumstances to control your life, take control! YOU ONLY LIVE ONCE.
"To hell with circumstances, I create my own opportunities." -Bruce Lee
